Graham St. x Maze

We invited Sue Macleod and her stylist daughter Hannah, the fashionable pair behind Graham St., to select their favourite pieces from our spring-summer collection. What better way to celebrate the Summer Solstice and the season of sunshine than with an edit of colourful prints and light, luxurious fabrics. To help you embrace the spirit of optimism that fashion can bring, scroll down to see how this mother-daughter duo have been wearing some of our key pieces.

Captured by photographer, Alex Mooney, Sue styles the olive green Sanne trousers from Meadows with a loose, boxy fit blouse, while Hannah wears the Clive dress by LF Markey. Both these brands were founded by the same designer, Louise Markey, who featured recently in our Spotlight series. The two brands have a very distinct design ethos, but both are equally easy to wear. Meadows takes a more traditionally feminine and whimsical approach to fashion, whilst LF Markey is quite utilitarian. Often pieces from each brand pair well and can be worn together.

A good dress is the cornerstone of every summer wardrobe. As Hannah says: 'All you need is a versatile pair of sandals and you’re set.' With a nod to the summery stripes of seaside holidays, this airy, mid-length dress from LF Markey is the perfect choice to keep you cool but covered on sunny days, but as Hannah shows, the addition of a jaunty sock and colourful cardigan will carry this piece through the year.

Understanding the power of a good accessory to transform an outfit, Hannah completed their looks with colourful sunglasses. Sue wears our bestselling Dalston style from Mr Boho, seen here in the Matte Basil colourway. Hannah recommends that 'sunglasses, like spectacles, are something that you should get more and more daring with as you get older.' Even the most outlandish glasses can be pared with most things in your wardrobe and will really add an edge to your outfit.
